Bennie is preceded in death by his parents; Benjamin Bortz and Margaret Peace. He is survived by his sons; Bennie Bortz Jr and wife Donna and Karl Bortz and wife Mary Jean. Daughters; Sherry Johnson and husband Jay and Cynthia Bridges. Sisters; Janet Tucker and Anna Beth Delaurier. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Thursday 11:00 am, August 20, 2020 at Rosewood Memorial Park in Porter, TX
