Brandon Riley Beauchamp, born August 29, 1975 moved to heaven on March 21, 2025. Brandon was born to a Lena Beauchamp Meyer and was raised as their own by Jim (James) and Martha Lantz Shelton of New Caney. Brandon is survived by his children Caitlin Beauchamp of Porter and Austin Beauchamp of Conroe, sister’s Melody Johnson of Splendora and Ellen Wilson (Nolan) of New Caney, Amanda (Jake) Barclay of Laneville, TX and his brother Johnny Shelton of LaPorte, Texas. He leaves behind his niece and nephews Cooper (Tabitha) Johnson of Cleveland, Guthrey Johnson of New Caney, Jessica (Jason) Kapperman of Nixa MO, Shelton Wilson of Kingwood, James Shelton of Atascocita, Lindsay (Cody) Long of Laneville, TX, and Devin Wilson of New Caney. Other loved ones left behind are Aunts Ada Grammar of Bogue Chitto, MS and Ruby (Gary) Swart of Yukon, OK. As well as many cousins and valued friends.
While attending Cleveland High School, Brandon played the trumpet and drums as well as a few other instruments, gaining a vast knowledge of music. While in High School he joined the United States Marine Corps to become a member of the Marine Corps Band stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. He marched in a several parades including two Rose Bowl parades as well as travelled to play at multiple events and several dignitaries. After returning back to Texas, he became a drummer for several bands, mostly playing Texas country music, including Rex Robards, Anson Carter and Jesse Raub Jr. While with Rex, he had the honor of shooting a couple of videos, playing at several well-known venues and being a part of the Texas music scene television show.
Although Brandon had life issues, having a stroke leaving him partially paralyzed was his most trying situation. His family is comforted in knowing that he is no longer in pain and due to his salvation, he is running through heaven with a restored body and mind.
