With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Connie P. Brown, our loving and devoted mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on August 5, 2023, in Friendswood, TX. She was 59.
Born on November 29, 1963, in New Orleans, LA, Connie lived a vibrant life filled with love and joy. A dedicated wife, mother, Nana, and friend, she spent 43 years as a Meat Wrapper but always found time for her family and friends.
Connie was known for her sense of humor, compassion, kindness to all, and unwavering love for her two daughters and six grandchildren. She had an endless love for gardening, playing slot machines in her free time, and her Siberian Husky, Bandit. The void left by her passing can never be filled.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Ramirez (husband Oscar) and Kristen Schoellman, and grandchildren Mariah Ramirez, Elizabeth Vaughn, Anthony Linton, Andrew Schoellman, Alexander Schoellman, and Madilynn Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, James Brown; parents, Lawrence Penton and Ethel Ellisor; brothers, Earl Pilgrim, Larry Penton, Donald Cherry; and sister, Angela Parker.
Her spirit will forever be the sunshine in our lives, and her memories will always remain deep within our hearts. Her wisdom and warmth will continue to guide us, and we will honor her legacy by living our lives with the same grace and love she showed to all.
Rest in peace, Mom, until we meet again.
