David Ray Harper

August 10, 1948 ~ June 21, 2021 David Ray Harper, 72, was born on August 10, 1948, in Dilley, Texas. He passed away on June 21, 2021 in his New Caney home surrounded by family. David is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Lee Harper, Candida Morales Harper, brother Claude Harper, and granddaughter, Cambria Harper. He is survived by his wife of 40 years of marriage, Melody Harper. Sons; Jason David Harper and Stephanie, Travis Ray Harper and wife Kristina, and Brandon Lee Harper and wife Judith. Brothers, J.D. Harper and wife Susan, Edward Harper and wife Thelma, sister-in-law, Mary Harper and six grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 5pm to 8pm Thursday, July 1, 2021 with a service beginning at 6:30pm in the Rios Funeral Directors Chapel.
