Donato Figueroa

October 25, 1951 ~ August 17, 2021Donato Figueroa, 69, was born on October 25, 1951 in Guanajuato, Mexico and went to be his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2021. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, and Husband. He was brave, tough, honest, and intimidating man, he was always straight forward with everyone and at times for those reasons he could come off as mean, but on the contrary he was a very kind man as well.  He struggled a bit to show us affection it wasn’t in his character but when those rare moments occurred, we would bask in them. He would make us laugh by doing silly things or randomly yelling. Donato always tried and when he realized he was being too tough on us he would let us know that he didn’t mean it in caring gestures. He was our protector he would do anything for us. His love for all of us goes beyond the stars and the moon. He has left our side, but he will forever be in our hearts and in our memories.Mr. Donato is preceded in death by his parents, Jacinto Figueroa, and Maria Vargas. Survived by his love Eloisa Figueroa, son; Abel Figueroa and wife Ana, daughters; Maria Pena and husband Eliu, Rosa Barrett, Patricia Gonzalez and husband Marin and Cindy Gonzalez and husband Rogelio. Also surviving are one brother and one sister. His loving grandchildren; Bianca Pena, Vanessa Pena, Andres Pena, Erica Cervantes, Jon Cervantes, Valerie Figueroa, Daniel Sanchez, Stephanie Gonzalez, Leslie Figueroa, Kimberly Figueroa, Brodie Figueroa, Mia Figueroa, and Christian Gonzalez. Also 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 5pm to 8pm at Rios Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00am, also at Rios Funeral Directors with procession to follow to his final resting place at Brookside Memorial Park.
