He is preceded in death by his only son, Anthony Eugene Owens, father Escar Edgar Owens and mother Margie Faye Bielss Owens. Edgar is survived by his wife of 8 years of marriage, Debra Owens, sister Carolyn Wissel, grandchildren: Rachel, Sarah, and Joseph, and five nieces and nephews. A private service will be held by the family.
