Edwanna Faye Eckenrode

Edwanna Faye Eckenrode, 76, was born on October 16, 1946, in Polk County, Texas and passed away on March 10, 2023 in Spring, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Eckenrode of 11 years of marriage, her parents George Oldham, Luther Holland, & Mabel Holland, her only sister Georgia Russell, and grandchild James Brett.

Edwanna is survived by her sons Thomas Brent Malinowski (Sharon Malinowski), Shannon Philpot (Velvet Philpot), and Chad Holland (Wendy Ely), brothers Joe Oldham (Sue Oldham), and Edward Oldham (Karen Oldham), grandchildren; Adriana, Heather, Ashley, Nicholas, Dustin, Jarek, Jacob, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Edwanna’s honor to her great-granddaughter’s non-profit organization, “Kirstyn’s Krew”.  Information for donating may be found at www.kirstynskrew.org. “
