Ervin Eugene Sistrunk, 72, was born on September 24, 1950 in Marshall, Texas and passed away on August 6, 2023 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father Mervil Ray Sistrunk Sr, and brother Mervil Ray Sistrunk Jr.

Gene is survived by his sons Billy Sistrunk, Travis Sistrunk (Cassidy), Allen Sistrunk (Susan), his mother Melba Sistrunk, brother Walter Lee Sistrunk (Vanessa Ann), sister-in-law Ann Sistrunk, one sister Janet Fulcher (Kenneth), nine grandchildren Zianne, Travis Jr., Tyler, Shyann, Ekho, Ashley, Micheal, Chyenne, Stormy, and three great-grandchildren Luna, Layne, and Korbyn.
