Evelyn Darlene Abshier

Evelyn Darlene Abshier (71) was born December 17, 1952, in Houston, Texas and passed away November 2, 2024, in Porter, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded by her parents Elmer Lloyd Abshier & Harriette Anna Wood. 

Evelyn is survived by her partner Ronald Lynn Lowery and sons Ronald Austin Lowery, Dennis Ray Lowery & fiancé Jodi Lynn Ingram, brothers Lloyd Edward Abshier, Ronald Eugene Abshier & wife Patty, Elmer Royce Abshier & wife Debrah, eight grandchildren Geonna, Nicolas, Raina, Dakota, Nicole, Alyssa, Jeremiah, Sara, one great-grandchild Elias, numerous nieces/nephews, and Cousin Pamela Anderson. 

Evelyn loved being with her family playing cards and dominos. She loved to listen to her family play music, and she had a wonderful sense of humor that made everyone laugh. When she smiled it made her eyes twinkle with joy. She absolutely showed the love she had for everyone in her life. She had a very kind soul and would help anyone in need. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin and grandmother. Her sons and grandchildren meant the world to her as she meant the world to them. She will be dearly missed.
