John Alvarado

John Alvarado Sr. was born on March 4, 1944 in Cameron, Texas. On September 1, 2019, while surrounded by family, John went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 75. Mr. Alvarado is proceeded in death by his parents, Leon Alvarado Sr. and Lilia Chavarria Alvarado, sister, Amalia Alvarado Rhodes and two brothers, Leon Alvarado II and Noe Alvarado. Mr. Alvarado is survived by his children, John Alvarado Jr. and wife Sylvia, Leon Alvarado and wife Veronica, Hope Vega and husband Bartolo Jr. and Victor Alvarado and wife Linda. He is also survived by his brothers, Ruben Alvarado, Samuel Alvarado, Rosendo Alvarado, Rafael Alvarado, Salomon Alvarado, and Mario Alvarado; sisters, Esperanza Benavides, Lusilia Hernandez, Gloria Alvarado and Clementina Alvarado. Further surviving, 8 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. John Alvarado was caring, patient and giving. His favorite past time was fishing and most of all time with his loved ones. He will be truly missed by all. “…There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!” (Revelation 21:4-5 NIV) Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Navasota, Texas 77868. Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 11am, with Jose Maldonado Officiating. Graveside services will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota, Texas. Funeral services entrusted to Rios Funeral Directors.
