Karen Diane Young

Karen Diane Young (64) was born April 25, 1960, in Houston, Texas and passed away on July 9, 2024, in Porter, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Bobby Wayne Young. 

Karen is survived by her sons Kennon Duane Silence & wife Sherri, Sheldon Douglas Silence & wife Christina, daughter Serena Destiny Silence, her mother Ruth Faye Patton, brothers Lloyd Young & wife Denise, David Young & wife Melanie, sisters Laura Doyle, Wanda Simons & husband Ross, and grandchildren, Everett, Tessa, Allie, Libby, Kylie, Chloe, Charlotte, and Jane. 

With great effort and humility, she led us in song and wrote beautiful music on our hearts.
