Lee Sausley

February 15, 1933 ~ June 21, 2021 Lee Sausley, 88, was born on February 15, 1933, in Bryan, Texas. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2021 in New Caney, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, father Lee Sausley, mother Honey Toland Sausley, wife Joanne Sausley, son Kendell Lynn Sausley, and brother John Sausley. Lee is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joyce Sausley. Son Lee Sausley III and wife Kelly and stepson Joe Hnatek and wife Becky. Stepdaughter Jean Kennedy. Twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Lee graduated from Stephen F. Austin High school in Houston. He was a jet engine mechanic at George Air Force base in California and played the saxophone in the Air Force band. He worked for Armco Steel as a chemist in the Metallurgy department. Lee had a great love for fishing, cars, and music. Viewing will be held from 9:30am to 11am Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Family Worship Center 23214 FM 1485 E New Caney, TX 77357. Service will be Saturday 11:00am June 26, 2021 at Family Worship Center 23214 FM 1485 E New Caney, TX 77357 followed by 2:00pm burial at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington, TX.
