Milton Trice Jr. was a Native Houstonian, born on August 1, 1951. He left this life on October 17, 2024 at 73 years old after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Jr. was a successful businessman, owning Trice’s Diesel Service for over 40 years. One of his customers commented that not only was Jr. a great mechanic, but he always had the coffee pot going at the shop. It was a well-known gathering spot for friends who would visit often for coffee, lunch, and sometimes an after-work meetup.
Jr. was a man’s man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing, and his favorite hobby discovered later in life—Karaoke, where he performed several nights a week, singing his favorite song, “Love Shack,” by the B52’s. He loved his country music and nothing made him happier than to see his son, Trey, play bass guitar around Houston and Austin.
Jr. is survived by his son, Edward “Trey” Kincade, his brother Randy Trice and his wife Regina, and their children Brittany, Zachary and Ashley, in addition to numerous family members throughout the Houston area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Vera Trice, and his brother Joe Trice.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Jr.’s friend, Valerie Covington, for her invaluable support and compassion during his medical treatment.
