Norman Scott Woodard, 49, was born on March 2, 1973 in Houston, Texas and passed away on January 28, 2023 in Humble, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin & Judith Woodard.
Scott aka Woody is survived by his sister Melinda Savage & husband Pat, one adopted son Bryson Woodard, and numerous nieces and nephews. He had several nick names as a young boy "Pockets" because he would put everything in his pockets, nuts, bolts, screws, rocks, ChapStick, knives, you name it. Later in his teenage years he was aka "Woody". He played the trumpet in the school band from middle school through high school, graduating from New Caney High School in 1991. He loved building, racing Mustangs back in the day, going mudding and riding 4 wheelers. He also loved hunting, fishing, and playing pool. Oh, and beer. He enjoyed cooking on the grill on the weekends and just hanging out with friends and family. Scott was a hard worker throughout his short life. He was grounds man supervisor for Tour 18 Golf Course for many years until he had to go on disability due to health issues. Scott was an honest man and a true friend to many.
