Raquel Rios

Raquel G. Rios (77) was born December 21, 1946 in Rio Grande City, Tx and passed away on August 8, 2024 in Conroe, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Santos Rios and Manuela Guajardo.

 Raquel is survived by her daughter, Lisa Garcia and husband Jesse. Brothers Benito Rios and wife San Juana, and Martin Rios and wife Yolanda. Sister Silvia Reyes and husband Guadalupe. Two Grandchildren Ivan Garcia and Alexa Garcia.

My mom was known for her caring heart and the honor of taking care of others. Navigating the journey of dementia, we saw changes in her that were difficult to comprehend and accept. Yet, through it all, her smile still had the power to light up the room. 

We will remember her not for the struggles she faced, but for the courage which she faced them.
