He is preceded in death by his son Robert Lewis Chelette Jr and his father John Chelette. Robert is survived by his spouse Donna Chelette of 11 years of marriage. Sons; Irving Rhodie Chelette, Jeffery Durrenberger, and Anthony Durrenberger and wife Bennita. Daughters; Marlina Ottele and husband Warren and Kymberly Nicole Hill and husband Luke. His mother Clara Compton, brother John Francis Chelette, and two grandchildren, Hannah Ottele and Rayne Durrenberger. Viewing will be held Monday September 20, 2021 from 11am to 12pm in the chapel of Rios Funeral Directors 21036 Loop 494, New Caney, TX 77357 followed by service beginning at 12pm.
