Salvador Lopez

Salvador Jorge Lopez Sr. beloved father and grandfather passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday the 18^th of March 2023 at the graceful age of 70. He is a retired employee of Bush Intercontinental Airport and a resident of New Caney, Tx.

Salvador was born on October 12, 1952, in Laredo, Tx. He was a very devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. One of his most loved hobbies was barbecuing for his family. In addition to barbecuing, he enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and watching movies especially Lord of the Rings. My dad could literally quote this movie. He also had a deep love of music, but most of all he loved The Beatles. John Lennon was his absolute favorite! He loved working in the yard and making bonfires. My daddy was such a delightful joy to have around and will be profoundly missed by all that knew him. We will cherish his memories for a lifetime.  

Salvador is preceded in death by his granddaughter Ashley Lopez, grandson Gabriel Lopez, his parents Salvador and Herlinda Lopez, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his children Yvonne Lopez (Osbaldo) Salvador Lopez, Allen Lopez (Shelly Cox), Russell Lopez, and Matilda Lopez- Halverson (Jack) as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Siblings Laura Lopez (Juan), Diana Torres, Rene Lopez (Maria), David Lopez, and Margaret Ann Montes (Daniel).
