Sidney Paul Vail Jr

Sidney Paul Vail Jr. (79) was born June 14, 1945, in Illinois and passed away at home March 20, 2025, in Houston, Texas with his wife by his side. He is preceded by his parents Sidney Paul Vail Sr. & Lillian Mae Rahn, and his sister Paula Irene Vail.

Sidney is survived by his wife, Cathleen B'Smith, his sons Nathan David Vail, Emmanuel Michael Vail, John Paul Vail, daughters Kirsty Anne B’Smith, Rebecca Dawn B’Smith, Leilani Marie B’Smith, and nine grandchildren.

Cathleen B'Smith: The first thing I remember about meeting Paul was his beautiful blue eyes. The second was his love for Jesus, and his love for the Bible. He truly lived 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” His whole purpose was to live for Jesus, and to share that truth with others. I was blessed to call him my husband.....
